Grants & PhD offers in systematics

Student Travel Grant

Unfortunately no grants were given in 2020 or 2021, but the possibility is now open for 2022!

Conditions

  • being a MS or PhD candidate in a Swiss research institution
  • having a research project that includes systematics
  • submitting a talk or a poster to an international meeting

To apply, please send to swisssystematics@yahoo.com before 16.05.2022:

  1. A description of the project, including an abstract of the presentation or poster, the budget requested and your motivations to attend the meeting (maximum 2 pages, in English)
  2. A short curriculum vitae
  3. A letter of support of your supervisor, with indications about the unavailability of internal funding for attending the meeting
  4. A letter of confirmation of visit from the Collection holding institution you would like to visit - ONLY for projects involving systematic work with specimens
